Hi there,
This is a non-halal recipe as it uses wine. For Asians, this is a real ‘bestest’ recipe for mom whom has just delivering their baby as this recipe helps them to rejuvenate and helps the blood circulations. For those who are familiar with confinement food – this is one of it. The elders believes that this promotes blood circulation and stimulates energy as the ingredients such as ginger is known to reduce cholesterol and treat inflammatory conditions.
For this recipe, the main ingredient are – “glutinous rice wine”. Its pretty hard to get this but we still can make a substitute of this in a easy way. (What i mean is we don’t make our wine – but we enhance the taste of available ingredients to taste like it).

Starts with chicken marination. Season chicken with salt and pepper. Set aside. |
